Twelve By Twelve
World Premiere Exhibition!
Kirsty has just returned from the Australasian Quilt Convention in Melbourne. She is a member of Twelve by Twelve, a collaborative art quilt project which hosted its World Premiere Exhibition at AQC. So exciting!! It was wonderful to meet so many quilters who follow the project through the blog and who were as enthusiastic about it as we are!
The Twelve by Twelve quilts are in the lower left corner of this photo. You can see all of the quilts and read their stories on either the website or blog.
The quilts are now on their way to Gosford Regional Art Gallery 28 May - 23 June
and Textile Art Festivalin Brisbane 25 June - 27 June.

Our current Beginners Class is nearly at an
end *boo hoo!* but we are now taking names
for the next one. The class is held once weekly
over a ten week period and is suitable for
either absolute beginners or more experienced
quilters looking for some handy dandy tips and
refinement of their techniques.

food and lots of silliness! If you haven't been to a
Half-Nighter yet, you are missing out!!
We start at 3:00 pm and sew and eat and talk until 1:00 am (yes, 1:00 am). The next two Half-Nighters are Saturday 29 May and Saturday 5 June. This time it's Scrappy Log Cabins.

Lots of you have been asking about the amazing felt cutouts that we have in the shop. These little flowers and dots are laser cut and come in mixed colour packs as shown here.
The dots come in two size ranges 5 - 10 mm and
10 - 18 mm. They are AUD $ 5.50 and $6.50 per pack.
The tiny flowers range from 10 - 20 mm and come in a mixed pack of colours and shapes costing AUD $7.50 per pack.
